Description   This very unique Italian XIX century oval floral  Brooch measures 1 1/2"W X 1 1/4"H. Hardstone inlay jewellery is often known  as Florentine work or pietra dura. The background is green malachite in oval 12K gold mount. No stones are missing, but there is a 1/2" minor fracture in the left corner of the malachite.
