Description   Fabulous sterling silver overlay on porcelain tea & coffee set made by Jacob Hertel & Co., Bavaria, Germany in the mid 1900's ( except the tray which is Heinrich). It is in mint condition. I doubt it was ever used but for display. The coffee pot stands 9-1/2", the teapot 6-3/4", the creamer 5-1/2", the sugar 5", and the tray is 10" x 6".  Applying sterling to porcelain was a tricky job which very few potteries attempted. This is only the second set I have come across in many years. It is a breathtaking set!
