Description   The Ferner Sterling nine piece set consisting of a kettle on a burner, a coffee pot, a tea pot and two sugars and creamers(tea/coffee) and a slop bowl, with a large tray (28" x 18"). Please note,the tray is Sterling silver not silver plated. All pieces are marked Sterling Handarbeit Ferner and total weight approx 14 lbs. Purchased from William Doyle Galleries, New York in 1970's. Nine (9) piece sterling silver tea/coffee set comprising kettle with burner, coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl (large and small), creamer (large and small), slop bowl and tray. All pieces with four (4) legs, leaf and berry design and handles in shape of "C" scroll with leaves. KETTLE Kettle on stand with burner and hinged lid with rose finial with four (4) leaves at the base. Height: 13" to top of finial, 16" with handle extended Body: 22" in circumference Neck: 13" in circumference Weight: 1775 gm (56.96 tr.oz) Handle and stand is hinged and designed with 'C' scrolls. Burner not found to have 'sterling marks' COFFEE POT Pot has hinged lid and handle, rose finial on lid with four (4) leaves at base, long fluted spout and large 'C'scroll handle.
