Since 1987 Torgsyn has offered its clientele the finest examples of antique and estate jewelry, Russian Orthodox icons, rare silver Judaica most of which was destroyed during WWII, paintings by old and modern artists and other objects of decorative art. Jewelry is the store's main specialty, and there is a great variety of pieces made of precious metals and stones from Edwardian period onward, such as platinum and diamond Edwardian necklace and broochies, Victorian bracelets, rings and earrings, fine Art Deco pieces and work by famous jewelry designers. In addition, Torgsyn produces its own line of jewelry made in the XIX century Russian and Euripean style, fashionable again today.
Using old design books, Torgsyn has set up a factory to reproduce the antique designs for cuatomers who value old jewelry, treasure the sentimental value of jewels that have been in their families for generations, and miss wearing them when they break or become too fragile to wear. Torgsyn's goal is to bring old beauty back to life for those who appriciate it.
Through elaborate, painstaking, and time-consuming processes many original pieces in gold, platinum and silver with diamonds and other precious stones have been brought back by the Torgsyn jewelers. Torgsyn also offers jewelry made to the client's order.
